Reluctance to stay abreast of changes results in an increased chance of becoming obsolete in today’s competitive environment. This is especially true with the relative stagnation generated by an increased number of practices vying for the same limited pet population.

The target for an effective laser therapy treatment is not any particular pathology itself, but rather stimulation of appropriate cell components that enhance the body’s natural repair mechanisms.

The 84th Western Veterinary Conference was held February 19-23 at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV. The K-Laser booth was a beehive of activity with prospective laser therapy providers shopping for the best equipment in veterinary laser therapy and existing K-Laser clients stopping by to share clinical and practice success stories.

Dr. Bryan Stephens, Director of Research and Development at K-LaserUSA spoke on ‘Laser Therapy for Wounds and Pain. His lectures were well-attended, with an estimated average attendance of 325 veterinarians and technicians. After the lecture, two past-Presidents of the WVC visited the K-Laser booth to deliver compliments on Dr. Stephens’ presentation.

The K-One Class 4 Therapy Laser was featured in the new product showcase at WVC 2012.

Dr. Phil Harrington visited the Oakland A’s trainers in Phoenix, Arizona on Tuesday February 14, 2012. The A’s are evaluating the K-Laser during Spring Training.

Phil remembered that Van Harden, the Program Director and Morning co-host of “Van and Bonnie in the Morning”, was a big Oakland A’s fan, so he sent Van the picture above. “Charley-O” was a long-time owner of the Oakland A’s.

During the treatment, she told Dr. Phil that she had been in an ATV accident six years prior, which had crushed her left hand.
