| Bloodflow/Circulation |
|
To initiate cellular metabolism, we have to introduce more oxygen, the principle fuel for aerobic organisms, and the only way to get oxygen and nutrients to the cells for processing, and waste products like lactic acid and carbon dioxide away from the cells is through the blood. Accordingly, generating local circulation, both input and output of blood, is one of the primary mechanisms of laser therapy. |

| K-Laser Case Studies From humans to pets. From hip dysplasia to stomatits. From infected wounds to soft tissue trauma. From fractures to osteoarthristis. Here are some case studies from the THOUSANDS of patients who have been successfully treated with the K-Laser. |
|
|
Most good surgeons or even good techs pride themselves on being able to stitch well and therefore get good wound closure very quickly after surgery. But good results can turn into great results with a 2-minute laser application post-surgically on the incision site.
Here is case of a cat that was attacked by a dog. I know that some of you are thinking that you would never leave a surgical site to look like that, but beyond the femoral head excision, there was serious soft-tissue injury: shredded muscles and avulsion of the skin. But as ugly as that site was after surgery, two weeks and 4 treatments later, you can see how much better it has gotten. Virtually unnoticeable.
This dog was hit by a car and this first picture was taken 3 weeks after the accident after it had been sent FROM the surgical referral center BACK to the general practitioner. So in the first 3 weeks you can see there had been very little in the form of healing or wound closure. This second picture is 4 hours after the FIRST laser treatment session. You can already start to see some of the epithelialization and granularization. Then 5 treatments and 2 weeks laser you can see we are left with a very manageable wound. The other thing that goes without saying (almost) is the amount of pain this kind of wound inflicts. The analgesic effects of laser therapy go hand in hand with its healing power to help these kinds of traumas.
After a brutal dog attack, Tucker was left with several injuries, one of which was some severe soft tissue damage under his right forelimb.
Burns like these are about as painful as any other injury.
K-Laser has the potential to soothe the pain AS WELL AS heal the skin and subcutaneous, damaged tissue.
You can see that TWO MONTHS TO THE DAY after the surgery,
this puppy’s back is in VERY GOOD shape.
And only after 10 TREATMENTS over 4 WEEKS!!!
This ankle was burnt on a motorcycle’s tailpipe ALL THE WAY TO THE BONE. The first picture is one month after the injury AND immediate skingraft. Notice the healing in the following month with K-Laser treatments relative to the amount of healing in the first month without.
This is a snake bite case from someone who was skeptical of lasers. They basically said “show me some results and maybe Ill buy” so we loaned them a laser for this case. The dog was bitten in the hind-limb and you can see that even after 3 days, the toxins spread and the entire belly was necrotic. They did a full surgical debridement on day 5 and you can see even 1 day laser, the necrotic tissue returned to the entire area. At this point on day 6 they applied the laser, but in the interest of science and skepticism, they left themselves a control section. So they lasered 2/3 of the belly and left 1/3 untouched. Two days and two treatments later you can see the effects of each section. At this point they said “to hell with skepticis, lets just make this dog better, so they treated the entire belly once more.

So here is the wound on day 12. The 2/3 section has had three laser treatments and the 1/3 section has had 1. Remember how quickly the necrosis spread after the initial debridment. Notice that this is a very clean wound even 6 days after that debridement. This wound remains clean and the infection has been neutralized. Again, this is an extreme case of success, but is an actual K-Laser case history.
