Power vs Penetration

There are a lot of people out there that preach the dogma that WAVELENGTH is the only quantity that affects the PENETRATION. This is only HALF TRUE and the simple calculation exercise below will hopefully shed some light on this very simple, but all-too-often overlooked idea. Whether this phrase’s proponents don’t understand this idea, or just can’t sell it remains unknown.
